The research topics focused on business administration are bundled in the Management & Controlling research group in three subject areas: Strategy, Controlling and Service Engineering.
Defining strategic success potentials and goals as well as the way to achieve them are essential for all (industrial) companies. To this end, implementation and optimization processes are developed for strategic planning and corporate alignment.
For 20 years now, research has also been conducted on modern methods/approaches to controlling. In addition to contract research projects, more than 100 scientific publications and technical papers have been published in cooperation with international networks.
Service engineering comprises the systematic development of (product-related) services with the help of engineering and business management methods.
