The Security Lab is used by students and teachers as part of courses for security-related analyses in the field of industrial control systems. Attack and defense mechanisms in industrial networks are also analyzed.
The modern equipment in the Security Lab also allows the simulation of hacking attacks on company networks in a protected room and the performance of security tests for hardware and software. Students also practice the possible practical case in so-called Red Team (attacker) and Blue Team (defender) trainings. Special training courses for so-called "Incident Response Teams", i.e. working groups that handle security-related incidents in the field of information technology, are also held in the Security Lab.
