The teaching and research laboratory was built in 2017 at a cost of EUR 2.9 million. An existing hall was adapted and equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, state-of-the-art equipment and the latest manufacturing technologies. The financing was provided by the municipality of Kapfenberg, cooperating companies and the Institute of Industrial Management at FH JOANNEUM.
