Infinity Tower as a project

In the winter semester of 2024, a group of students from the Construction Planning and Construction Management course took on the task of designing an Infinity Tower. The structure was constructed as part of a project in a course. At the end, the result had to be presented. The project group decided to build a model of the tower. They used the FabLab in the Smart Production Lab in Kapfenberg for this. Over 600 individual parts were made from cardboard using a laser cutter. The students then glued their structure together and brought it to life with the laser-cut figures of people. This shows once again how prototyping is used in the degree courses at FH Joanneum.
