
The business-focused research topics are bundled into three subject areas in the Management & Controlling research group: Strategy, Controlling and Service Engineering.
It is essential for all (industrial) companies to define strategic success potentials and goals as well as the way to achieve them. To this end, implementation and optimization processes are developed for strategic planning and corporate alignment.
For 20 years now, research has also been conducted into modern controlling methods/approaches, with over 100 scientific publications and specialist articles published in cooperation with international networks in addition to contract research projects.
Service engineering encompasses the systematic development of (product-related) services using engineering and business management methods.
